Making A Murderer

Currently I started watching the Making A Murderer series on Netflix. This is a true story about a man who got convicted for a crime he did not commit, spending 18 years in jailing paying. Then a car is found and he is yet again sent to jail for a murder. The series consists many interviews, older footage from the trial, and pictures/facts. These interviews consisted of many people involve in the case and at trial. The only thing I saw wrong or what they could have done better was using their thirds when shooting the intervews. Putting the interview in the center is boring, and it needed depth to give it extra. The interviews are also a little to close for comfort. But, besides that the video footage collect was interesting and well done. The footage that makes this series fascinating is the trial b-roll collected are very artsy shots. For example, they use a bird's eye view over this old car junk yard. This was taken in episode two. It was used as a transition to a new subject they were discussing. This series will hook you once you start watching. It is so interesting, especially the case itself is so interesting. I recommend this to anyone. It keeps your attention on the story the entire time, besides the first two episodes. It makes you want to keep watching.
